Guiding for birders by experienced members of Cursorius

In the appropriate time of year Cursorius offers guiding in the Netherlands for birders. The Netherlands is a great country for thousands of geese and swans during wintertime. Large numbers of geese and swans migrate from and to their breeding grounds in Siberia to winter in the Netherlands.

The species which can be seen are:

Bewick's Swan (Cygnus bewickii)
Whooper Swan (Cygnus cygnus)
Taiga Bean Goose (Anser fabalis)
Tundra Bean Goose (Anser serrirostris)
Pink-footed Goose (Anser brachyrhynchus)
Eurasian White-fronted Goose (Anser albifrons albifrons)
Lesser White-fronted Goose (Anser erythropus)
Western Greylag Goose (Anser anser anser)
Barnacle Goose (Branta leucopsis)
Dark-bellied Brent Goose (Branta bernicla)

The rarer species which are mostly seen:

Snow Goose (Anser caerulescens)
Ross's Goose (Anser rossii)
Pale-bellied Brent Goose (Branta hrota)
Black Brant (Branta nigricans)
Red-breasted Goose (Branta ruficollis)

Other species we can provide are: Black Woodpecker, Smew, Rough-legged Buzzard, Peregrine, Bearded Tit and many others. We are very knowledgeable in many areas in the Netherlands e.g. the Lauwersmeer, Zeeland, Oostvaardesplassen (Flevoland) and the famous Dutch Wadden Islands! We are also fully updated with all recent rare birdspecies.
